Rock Fest, Montebello, Quebec

What is more inspiring than 100,000 people that take over a small town in Quebec for some of the best rock bands of our time?  Not freaking much!  This past weekend, Sara travelled to small town Montebello, Quebec to experience the 11th annual Amnesia RockFest.  It was unlike anything she's ever seen - cars and tents lined the streets, bands hit the big stages, and Canadians were polite and curtious to one another as they spent the weekend drinking, eating poutine, and bouncing along/moshing/crowd surfing to their favorite songs.

And what did Sara take from all of this?  1. She needs more skull candles and now has ideas for some other weird and funky candles, 2. she needs to make a poutine scented candle.  Because what is more Canadian than poutine?  Ok, so maple syrup is up on that list too... but stay tuned for a poutine scented candle, because it must be done!

That being said, with Canada Day this weekend, Sara will be making a limited number of maple syrup scented candles to be sold on the Toronto Islands on Sunday, July 3.  Stop by the path between Centre Island and Hanlan's Point at the Gibraltar Point Market between 11am - 5pm to get your own maple syrup scented soy candle.  This weekend only, save 30% your purchase when you mention this post!!

Hope to see you there!

xo,

Sara (yes, I realize I've been writing in third person)
